GOTL - Chaos Wars

Hovering there, in the night sky above the elven city of Qualinesti, Shadowsong contemplated the recent events at Pax Tharkas; while the place was cleansed of the undead, a failure he had planned for, he had not expected to find another shard of the Blue Crystal Staff amongst the would be saviors. He could have easily taken their shard, and yet, he allowed them to leave.

"It is in their hands now. Perhaps they can find her, and put an end to.....all of this."

He banished the thought before he allowed himself to hope too much....he had dark work to do. Looking down again at the elven city as the faint rays of the light of dawn were beginning to break the night's hold, he drew his swords......

Hovering there, in that empty place, after returning from the attack on the knight's keep Shadowsong calls out,

"I've done as you asked of me, without fail..! You have yet to hold your end our of agreement to term! I call upon it now! WHERE. IS. SHE?!?"

Within the blackness of the void, a bright yellow light begins to burn, almost imperceptibly, then brighter and larger until it covered every iota of space, the sheer presence of it overwhelming Shadowsong's senses,

"She will soon be before you, though you will not know it."

The last thing Shadowsong would feel is the presence of Chaos itself taking over his body as yellow light flooded his vision........as well as the endless desire for destruction it embodied....
